New Traditions part II

With awe and wonder the story continues each night...

Laws given in hopes of restoration...

A woman who through sorrow shows dedication to God and family
and continues the line...

And she, despised yet chosen to play a very important faithful role...

A new king, anointed...

The shepherd becomes King so that one day the King would be our Good Shepherd...

The prophesy that points to the Light...

And the competition that affirms yet again His greatness...

Can you feel the anticipation building?

We too are doing the Jesse Tree Advent. It is fun hearing the kids talk about throughout the day as well as them asking if it is time to read it in the morning. What a blessing this has been to help our family continue to look outwards at this crazy and often selfish time of year.
Enjoyed your pictures and your tree is looking amazing.

We're feeling it here, too, friend. And Christmas is only the beginning! :)

I LOVE your Jesse tree... the way you interpreted the symbols is incredible- you're so creative!! What a memory for your children. And you!

I love your heart, Amy, and I'm so proud of you.
