Birth

The miracle of birth.  It's an amazing thing.  When you're pregnant woman feel the need to share with you their story.  Honestly I thought it was kind of strange at first, but after I had my first child I realized that giving birth is like a right of passage, an initiation of sorts.  The experience, for most women is so incredibly beautiful (even a midst the pain) that it becomes a story that you want to share with other mothers.
I've never written down the birth stories of my three children, though I know a lot of bloggers that have.  Recently a fellow blogger posted to twitter that she was almost done writing her birth story to post on her blog.(She blogs here at Where My Heart Resides)
She just gave birth to her sweet baby boy about a month ago, so it's still fresh on her mind.  Her excitement and joy is contagious, and her posts are reminding me of when I had Grace and experienced each and every "first" as it came along.
I'm excited to share with you my birth stories (as fuzzy as the details may be 7, 6,and 3 years later!)
