First let me say that I'm amazed that after blogging for almost 31 Days straight the fact that I want to even open up a "new post" is a good sign. Second, I'm excited to share with you something "hot off the press" today!
So..."What's For Dinner?"
It's the question that plagues even the most organized of mommies, and the want to be Ree Drummonds of the world! Honestly if you want to be considered "normal" than at some point in your life you will be standing in your kitchen at 5:00 PM, husband due home anytime, kids hitting the "bewitching hour", and no visible plan for what to serve for dinner that night. Well, in her wisdom Kathi has written this book to help you take a few steps in trying to get you out of the every day occurrence of the above scenario!
It is helpful indeed! The other thing that I have personally found to be extremely helpful is M.O.M.S. (Mothers Offering Mothers Support!) Who else understands better than someone in the exact same situation as you? So with that in mind, here's my plan.
Each week I'm going to post for you my menu plan for the next five days. I will include at least one recipe each time I post. (This is at the request of my dear friend Yoly!) If you have a blog and would like to link up to your own recipe sharing please join me. Or, if you have a recipe you would like to share but do not blog please email me the recipe and I'll do what I can to try it and feature it here on the Homemaker In Training!
Coming Tomorrow: Meals for the first week of November!

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you Amy! Now if I could just manage the monthly or biweekly meal planning, so I don't have to figure out what to cook and run to the store at 5 pm!
